Für die Konferenzteilnehmer wird am Konferenzvortag, dem 11. März 2026, eine Exkursion nach Chemnitz organisiert. Dort können auf dem Gelände des Hauptbahnhofs die elektrischen Systemtrennstelle DC 600 V / AC 15 kV 16,7 Hz, die elektrische Ausrüstung des Gemeinschaftsbauwerks für DC-Straßenbahn und AC-Fernbahn sowie die Bahnhofshalle besichtigt werden.

Die Teilnehmerzahl ist begrenzt. Treffpunkt ist 12:00 Uhr in der Lobby des Hotels, Rückkehr gegen 18:00 Uhr.

On the day before the conference, 11 March 2024, a technical visit to Chemnitz will be organized for the conference participants. In the area of the railway main station, they will be able to visit the DC 600 V / AC 15 kV 16,7 Hz system separation zone, the electrical equipment of the common buiding for DC trams and AC railways, and the station building.

The number of participants is limited. The meeting point is 12:00 in the lobby of the hotel, returning to the hotel at approximately 18:00.
